If you’re someone who likes to cycle, then you are certainly going to be thrilled to know that a new trail has opened in the UAE. This is the longest mountain trail in the UAE and it is now complete. Open to everybody, it was announced on Thursday that the UAE’s longest mountain trail, which features 21 routes, is finally open. Here’s all you need to know about this.

Dubai Municipality Announces UAE’s Longest Mountain Trail

The Dubai Municipality announced that the UAE’s longest mountain trail has now been completed and it’s open in Hatta. Featuring 21 cycling routes, which span 53 km, it’s certainly perfect for people who like to cycle. In fact, it also features 17 walking trails which are spread across 33 km nine wooden bridges, and 14 rest stops and service facilities.

As it happens, these trails are divided into four colour-coded levels of difficulty. Green has four tracks for cycling and four for walking, Blue has six for cycling and three for walking while Red has eight for cycling and six for walking. Black-coded trails have three for cycling and four for walking.

All About The Hatta Trail That’s Now Open

For those who aren’t aware, the mountain trail also passes through a variety of different drains and landscapes. This includes rocky parts and mountainous areas, rugged peaks, and value. Offering a panoramic view, outdoor enthusiasts will certainly be able to enjoy all of this in the unique natural beauty of Hatta. It’s worth mentioning that this trail has 650 guide markers along the trail and 176 directional signs. Not to mention, there are 14 rest stops with integrated service facilities that are bound to make your outdoor experience a pleasant affair. Lastly, it’s important to point out that the facilities here also include car parking, bike rental, repair services, and even toilets.

So, with the area using the latest equipment and materials, it’s bound to amplify the unique experience for cycling enthusiasts.
