Qantas Airways Limited is back in the limelight and making headlines for infamous reasons. The airline grabbed attention worldwide for its ghost flight scandal about 2 weeks back. This time, the airline made passengers uncomfortable playing an explicit movie. A film named Daddio was streamed on a Qantas flight from Sydney to Haneda. Undoubtedly, everyone onboard was surprised.
Daddio Broadcasted On Sydney-Haneda Flight…Shocking!
In an unfortunate turn of events, the airline is again receiving backlash from passengers on the Internet. Everyone is judging its services for playing an explicit movie on a flight including kids in the passenger seats. The flight QF59 departed from Australia’s Sydney and was on its way to Japan’s Haneda. According to several reports, the airline played the movie accidentally.
Daddio, a 2023 film, is an R-rated film and is not something to be watched with kids. From its erotic content to raunchy visuals, this movie has inappropriate scenes and passengers were unhappy and angry seeing the airline playing it on the in-flight screens. Travellers tried to turn it off but their efforts went in vain. A passenger ranted about the experience on Reddit and stated how it was impossible to pause, dim, or completely turn off the film.
Broadcasting an R-rated movie on a flight full of flyers raised many questions. Onboard people felt very uncomfortable just sitting there and seeing the movie broadcasting in front of them. The airline tried to change the movie from the screens but this process turned out to be time-consuming. After almost an hour, the crew managed to replace the previous film.

The Airline Acknowledged The Error
A technical malfunction caused the major mishap and the R-rated film was broadcast on every passenger’s screen, according to a report by news.com.au. The glitch did not allow Qantas flyers to select their content. Cabin crew members tried to solve the issue related to the glitch and asked everyone about their movie choices. This turned out to be another obstacle as all screens were playing Daddio.
Next, the crew attempted to fix all the screens to address the situation but could not rectify the mistake. They ended up broadcasting a more family-friendly movie. A spokesperson of the airline apologised for the blunder.
