Among the vast numbers of places to relish yummy food, some have successfully stolen foodies’ hearts with their scrumptious delicacies. One such famous place is Gulati Restaurant located on Delhi’s Pandara Road. Unfortunately, a major fire broke out here in the early hours of Wednesday. Fire Erupted At Gulati Restaurant In Pandara Road

C Uday Bhaskar (@theUdayB) shared a video of the affected place after it caught fire.

A major fire reportedly broke out at Gulati restaurant very early on Wednesday. Nestled near the iconic India Gate, the news broke out after the fire was reported at around 2:48 AM at the place. According to a report by The Hindu, the sitting area of the restaurant caught fire initially. Soon, it spread around to the first floor and damaged multiple areas within the premises.

According to information shared by the Delhi Fire Services officials, it took around an hour to douse the flames and control the situation. A total of four fire tenders rushed to Gulati restaurant at the earliest to extinguish the fire. Fortunately, there has been no major damage or destruction following the fire that broke out at the restaurant.

A few furniture pieces used in decorating Gulati were damaged. Also, some articles were gutted by the fire and flames. The good news is that no casualties have been reported. Also, not a single person sustained any injuries after the frightening fire erupted at Gulati during the wee hours of Wednesday.

Inspection Is Underway

Taking to X, VINAY. KUMAR DELHI (@wadhawan2011) shared a picture of Gulati after the recent incident.

There are no official updates on the actual cause of the fire breakout at Gulati restaurant. A short circuit is likely to have caused the accident, police officials shared. To find the exact reason behind the fire, an inspection has been initiated.
