We love ordering food from outside and savouring it in the comfort of our homes. Rather than dressing up and catching a vehicle to visit a cafe or a restaurant, we can easily use our mobiles to order our favourite dish and relish it while watching a movie or a web series. In an unexpected turn of events, a delivery guy scolded a Delhiite for ordering chicken biryani before Diwali festivities. What did the customer do later?
Delhi Man Gets Scolded By Delivery Guy For Eating Chicken Biryani Before Diwali
Taking to Reddit, u/paisaagadimehngaghar posted about this incident on r/Delhi. The OP shared his experience of placing an order for chicken biryani recently. According to the Reddit post, he ordered the dish from a place in Delhi called Biryani Blues. After the delivery guy called, asked for the OTP, and put it in the system, he said something unexpected to the customer.
The Delhi man was completely shocked to hear the delivery agent saying “bhaiya suno, ye bohot galat kar rahe ho aap, theek nahi hai dharm me ye” (Brother, listen, you are doing this very wrong, this is not right in religion.) The customer responded by asking “kya hua bhaiya” (What happened, brother?) To which, the delivery executive replied, “Eat all this chicken and mutton after Diwali. Eat something clean till Diwali.”
Listening to the response, the Redditor felt uneasy and froze up with a guilty smile. He was unsure about how to respond to the delivery man’s statement. “Why does he freakin care anyway,” the OP further added.
What Happened After?
Though he received his chicken biryani order from Biryani Blues, he was not excited to eat it anymore. Though he had been hungry since morning, he did not feel like eating the ordered biryani. In addition to the surprising scolding, he was scared of imagining if the delivery man added something to the order.
The Delhiite was in shock wondering what to do next as the delivery agent had his name, mobile number, and home address. He concluded the Reddit post by adding, “If I report him, he might make a scene. Din kharab mood kharab.”
