From Rajiv Chowk metro station to Mandi House metro station, there will be no operations for some hours on 23 July. Here are all the details you need to know before you catch a metro tomorrow.
Delhi Metro Services Will Be Closed Till 6 AM
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) shared in a statement that the Delhi metro will be shut between Rajiv Chowk and Mandi House metro stations. The operations will come at a pause from the beginning of the metro services to 6 AM on Sunday. According to the statement released by DMRC, the services will not be operational at the Barakhamba Road metro station. As the facilities will remain closed between Rajiv Chowk and Mandi House, passengers can simply deboard at these stations and travel on the Yellow Line and Violet Line. Officials shared that commuters planning to go beyond these metro stations can choose Yellow Line and Violet Line, according to a report by India.com. Later, they can simply catch a metro on the Blue Line and go ahead to their respective destinations.

The other sections of the Blue Line will provide metro services as usual. Other metro lines will also follow the Sunday schedule and provide services to the commuters.
This Is Why The Services Will Be Closed For Some Time On Sunday
According to the statement by DMRC, there will be scheduled maintenance work between Rajiv Chowk and Mandi House metro stations on the Blue Line. This is why the operations will not be regulated at this section till 6 in the morning. The services in the other sections of the Blue Line will be properly continuing as per the scheduled routines. There will be proper announcements ongoing at the metro stations to keep the passengers updates about the situation.
