Delhi NCR region along with surrounding areas got struck by an earthquake on Saturday evening – 2nd Feb.
According to news reports, Delhi NCR along with other regions of North India, Pakistan and Afghanistan got struck by an earthquake of scale 6.4 on 5.15PM, Saturday, 2nd Feb. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) is claiming that the epicenter of the earthquake was Hindu Kush mountain range which stretches across the Pakistan and Afghanistan border. What Is It?
Earlier that same day, an earthquake of 6.1 magnitude was felt at Sumatra Island, Indonesia but no warnings were issued. Indonesia’s National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) also claimed that despite the magnitude, there were no dangerous consequences and no alert for tsunami has been issued.
