Delhi-Raipur Vistara Flight Diverted To Bhubaneshwar Due To Bad Weather

It is a pain when scheduled flights get delayed or diverted. However, it is sometimes necessary to do so for a variety of reasons. Recently, a Vistara flight from Delhi was diverted to Bhubaneswar in Odisha. The original destination of the flight was Raipur in Chhattisgarh. However, as per the airline, the flight had to be diverted because of bad weather at the Raipur Airport. Here are all of the important information that you would need to know about this flight diversion.

Delhi-Raipur Vistara Flight Diverted To Bhubaneshwar

According to a post made by the airline on X (formerly known as Twitter), a Vistara flight was recently forced to divert. The flight took off from the Indira Gandhi International Airport or IGIA in Delhi. It was headed to the airport in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

However, owing to inclement weather, the flight had to be diverted to Bhubaneswar in Odisha. It arrived at the new destination around 9:45 AM. The passengers had to experience a minor delay as the flight waited out the bad weather. The flight was numbered UK793.

Shortly after landing at the Bhubaneswar airport, the flight took off for its original destination, Raipur. In a follow-up post, the airline stated that the flight had left for Raipur from Bhubaneswar at 10:46 AM. The arrival was scheduled at 11:30 AM at the Raipur airport.

Flights being delayed and diverted has become increasingly common these days. Recently, IndiGo witnessed a lot of flak because of constant delays in operations and flights. In one case, a Delhi-Goa flight was delayed for a whopping 13 hours.

Things took a turn for the worse when a passenger, angry at the delay, ended up hitting the co-pilot of the plane. Other passengers revealed that the pilot was being rude to the passengers.
