On January 28, Delhi woke up to a minimum temperature of 6° Celsius. This is three degrees below the season’s average! While there are still slightly foggy conditions, the visibility around the city has improved over the last few days. This is quite a turn from the weather that the city witnessed on Saturday. While cold winters are back for another few days, air quality seems to have improved in Delhi NCR. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), due to the windy weather, the AQI in Delhi went from ‘severe’ to ‘very poor’. In Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad, the AQI improved from ‘very poor’ to ‘poor’ in just one day.
