Denmark Royals Visit India For The 1st Time In 2 Decades; Pose In Front Of Taj Mahal & Agra Fort

The city of Agra is known for the grandeur of the Mughal era and houses one of the most impeccable monuments โ€” the Taj Mahal. Built for Mumtaz Mahal, this grand monument is the epitome of Islamic ivory marble architecture. Moreover, it is home to the grave of Shah Jahanโ€™s beloved wife. Taj Mahal was declared a UNESCO Heritage Site for being one of the finest Mughal architectures in the world. And many people have visited this beauty, with recent ones being the Denmark royals. Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark visited the city of Agra and its important monuments.

The Denmark Royals Visit Agra

Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark are on a four-day visit and have been visiting important monuments in Agra. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar had invited them to visit India. The Denmark royals have visited for the first time in two decades. And they have visited two historic and iconic places in Agra โ€” the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Both the prince and princess donned elegant outfits in front of the palace.

Princess Mary of Denmark wore a patterned orange maxi skirt with a plain white shirt and paired the outfit with a chunky belt. While her husband, Prince Frederik, kept his appearance simple with trousers, beige blazers and a white shirt. He paired this casual outfit with navy blue trainers.

This visit by Denmark royals is a way to strengthen the ties between India and Denmark. It is no secret that the governments of both countries hope to build and enhance friendly ties with each other.

Before the Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark, many other royals and other famous people visited the Taj Mahal. Among them are Mark Zuckerberg, Tom Cruise, Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and many more.
