New expedition dates have been announced on the website of OceanGate. It is the same company that ran the tragic Titan submersible that met with a devastating implosion deep underwater with five people aboard.

The organisation has scheduled two voyages for 2024 in an unexpected move. According to the website, the first journey will happen between June 12 and June 20 while the second will happen between June 21 and June 29.

A submersible dive, private lodging, training, expedition supplies, and meals while at sea are all included in the $250,000 per person cost of each trip. In order to keep participants connected during the adventure, a Wi-Fi facility will be available onboard.

Once In A Lifetime Experience?

The website offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience to explore the Titanic, which is 3,800 metres below the surface of the Atlantic coast of Canada. The website features unique images of the deep blue ocean. The participants must be at least 17 years old to participate, and that’s the only requirement.

Days after the US Navy declared that all five aboard the submersible, including OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, died in the tragedy, the business announced that it will be going on more expeditions. Since then, law enforcement officials have been attempting to determine whether the situation justifies opening a criminal probe.

Earlier this week, sources stated that OceanGate had shut down its Everett, Washington State, headquarters. The company’s indefinite closure was announced to the media by the leasing agent.

A Florida couple who had sued Stockton and OceanGate for a refund of more than $210,000 stated they were dropping the case after the submersible’s explosion.

It’s possible that thrill seekers will still sign up for the deep-sea dive, but it’s highly doubtful that the authorities will let OceanGate organise another trip without the necessary permits.
