Looks like pilgrims can soon tick this experience off their bucket lists as the Lipulekh pass is all set to reopen on September 15.

Kirti Chandra Arya, Pithoragarh District Tourism Officer, announced the grand news about the pass in Vyas Valley recently. According to a report by Hindustan Times, interested pilgrims will get an exciting chance to enjoy spectacular views of Kailash Peak in Tibet from the 18,300-foot-high old Lipulekh pass. With the opening of this famous pass in Pithoragarh, travellers can start travelling from Dharchula to reach Lipulekh by vehicle.
