On Dhanteras, celebrated on October 29, gold and silver rates are among the top trending topics on the Internet in India, with over 100,000 searches in just two hours. Marking a 50% increase in search volume on Google Trends.

On October 29, the 24-carat gold rate in India was quoted at ₹78,610 per 10 grams, while the rate per gram was ₹7,861, as reported by Financial Express. Furthermore, the price of 22-carat gold was ₹72,059 per 10 grams.

The price of 24-carat gold has experienced a significant decrease of 0.13% in the past week and 1% in the past ten days. While silver is currently available for purchase at a price of ₹97,480 per kilogram.
