1. DIFC Launches Dubai AI License
Recently, it was announced by the DIFC that it has launched a first-of-its-kind Dubai AI Licence. This license helps to attract more companies to Dubai. In fact, it was also announced that ‘AI as a Service’ has been launched which will help companies assess readiness for AI while also identifying opportunities, making recommendations, developing strategies, and thereby helping in implementing their findings.
2. Dubai RTA Announces The Closure Of Service Provider Centres
Dubai RTA recently revealed through its post on X (formerly Twitter) that Service Provider Centres will be closed on Sunday, September 15, 2024. This is on the occasion of Mawlid Al-Nabawi for the year 1446 AH. As a result, work will resume on Monday, which is September 16 with regular operating hours.
3. Saudia To Begin Direct Flights To Phuket From Jeddah & Riyadh
Saudia has announced six weekly direct flights from Jeddah and Riyadh to Phuket. This will begin on December 2 and will have six weekly direct flights. As a result, travellers will get to experience exciting water sports, making them at this ultimate destination for adventure.

4. Saudi Cultural Week In Athens
The Saudi Ministry Of Culture will be hosting the Saudi Cultural Week. This will be happening at the Zappeion Hall in Athens, showcasing the Saudi culinary tradition in the Greek capital. Yes, this will be happening from September 27 to October 1, 2024.
5. Malaysian Embassy Showcases Home Cuisine In Muscat
The Embassy of Malaysia organised an event at the Grand Millennium Hotel on Wednesday, September 11. They showcased delectable breakfast items from Malaysia that were attended by 100 guests. In fact, the event showcased several popular breakfast dishes from the Far Eastern country.
6. Vial Kunafa Chocolate Gets Sheikh Hamdan’s Approval
FIX Dessert Chocolatier, which is famous for its insanely viral kunafa chocolate has now received the approval of Sheikh Hamdan. Yes, taking to Instagram story, the Crown Prince of Dubai shared the image of a unique flavour on his story. Later, the brand revealed that they had collaborated with Sheikh Hamdan and had crafted a one and only flavour that had been tailored for personal taste and for the love of the special ingredient that is Emirati Halwa. However, this flavour will not be for sale!
