If you’ve ever dreamed of dining by the Great Pyramid after sunset, that dream just got real. For the first time ever, Khufu’s Bistro in Giza is opening its doors at night. From Thursday, 20 July to 20 August 2025, the iconic restaurant is launching a limited-time evening dining experience.

This Summer, Dine Under the Stars At Khufu’s Bistro Beside The Great Pyramid

Tucked right at the foot of the Great Pyramid, this dinner setup gives you a table with a view most can only dream of. The bistro is now open for two dinner slots. One for 6:00 to 8:30 PM or 8:30 to 11:00 PM. Take your pick, but trust us, either one’s pure magic. This window of time lets you watch the desert transform slowly, quietly. The views shift quick. One minute it’s bathed in soft gold, then it melts into deep blue before your main course even lands. There’s no city buzz, no neon. Just quiet, cool air and the soft shuffle of wind across stone. You won’t find street noise or bright lights here. Just the faint whisper of wind over ancient stone and the soft clink of cutlery as you eat beside a piece of history.

Chef Mostafa Seif Has Set The Tone

This dinner isn’t just about the view. The food? As solid as the setting. Chef Mostafa Seif does classic Egyptian dishes with a slick twist. His molokhia is silky, the quail is grilled spot on, and the citrusy lentils somehow match the vibe around you, calm, earthy, and a little surreal.

The portions are designed for sharing, and tables seat up to eight guests. Whether you go with friends or book the entire table for something special, this isn’t your usual dinner reservation. It’s intimate. It’s grounded.

Limited Seats, Big Atmosphere

This is not a ‘walk-in-and-we-will-find-you-a-table’ kind of spot. Seats are limited, and once they’re gone, that’s your chance missed. So yes, booking early isn’t a suggestion—it’s a necessity. Also, quick tip from the crew: bring a shawl if you’re heading for the late slot. The desert cools down fast once the sun dips, and you’ll want something warm while you dig in under the stars.

The whole experience feels clean and simple in the best way. No frills, just a solid meal with one of the world’s oldest wonders for company.  No heavy decor, no distractions. Just carefully crafted food, thoughtful service, and a setting that doesn’t need any dressing up.

If You’re In Egypt This Summer, Make This Booking

There aren’t many places in the world where you can eat dinner in the shadow of a 4,500-year-old wonder. Khufu’s Bistro has always been a favourite for its daytime charm, but this nighttime version offers something you can’t replicate.

Tables are already filling up, so if this sounds like your kind of evening, don’t wait. Book your seat, charge your phone, and go hungry for both food and history.
