Unfortunately, there are only a few that are actually ‘not’ harmful and are made without chemicals. Well, to end our misery and continue savouring our favourite Maggi Masala, Chef Neha Deepak Shah shared a recipe.
It’s Time To Make Some Homemade Maggi Masala At Home!
Taking to Instagram, the MasterChef India runner-up shared a simple video to prepare this spicy chatpata masala mix.
There is no doubt about the epic taste of the classic Maggi Masala and its wide fanbase all over the world. Though it tastes oh-so-delish, it is not that healthy. But does that mean we need to stop consuming our loved seasoning? Well, not exactly! Chef Neha Deepak Shah dropped a fantastic video to quickly make this masala at home and that too, removing all the unhealthy additions.
The best part about preparing this spice mix is the super easy procedure. The homemade Maggi masala is a flavourful blend of aromatic spices and brings out the flavours and taste of all. The chef shared how this recipe has no additives, chemicals, or artificial flavour enhancers. It is 100 per cent natural and contains no MSG as well.

Here’s The Recipe Shared By The Chef:
Are you ready to learn the simplest process to make this flavour-packed and aromatic spice mix? All you need is a list of powdered spices and it takes just a couple of minutes to make and store it.
Ingredients:
- 4 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Amchoor Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Seed Powder (roasted)
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
- 1/4 tsp Methi (Fenugreek) Seed Powder
- 2 pinches of Nutmeg Powder
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 3/4 tsp Dry Ginger Powder
- 1/4 tsp Taatri
- 1¼ tsp Garlic Powder
- 1½ tbsp Onion Powder
- Pinch of Fennel Powder
Method:
- Take a bowl and add all the spices one by one.
- Make sure that you simply do not pour everything together.
- Mix all the ingredients well and avoid the occurrence of any lumps.
- You can easily store the homemade Maggi Masala in an airtight container and keep it for a month.
