Bilal Hassan is a Pakistan-based influencer who recently enjoyed his first-ever Diwali celebration in Karachi. He took to Instagram to share a video about “Diwali in Pakistan” and it was absolutely beautiful. He explains that Diwali celebrations in Karachi are lively and vibrant, and while he has heard all about it, he never got to experience it in person. So, this year, he visited the city with some of his friends to experience the celebration in all its glory.
He visited the Swami Narayan Temple in Karachi, the biggest temple in the city. Packed with people, the video showed us how enthusiastically the city celebrated the festival of lights. He busted firecrackers with his friends and even made “Eidi-style” money envelopes for them! Bilal came back home with tons of sweets because Diwali and mithai go hand in hand! He ends the video by sharing his two cents about how festivities help unite communities and wishing everyone a “Happy Diwali!”
