Asha Bhosle And Kishore Kumar Were Once Rejected
After talking about blockbuster hits by Asha Ji, we touched upon a time when she wasn’t valued for her melodious voice. She and Kishore Kumar were rejected in the earlier stages of their music careers. Our guest revealed that folks in the music industry were unsatisfied with their singing. So much so, that they were deemed not fit as playback singers!
This harsh criticism wounded Kishore Ji’s heart and confidence. On the other hand, Asha Ji was packed with confidence and knew her talent would conquer the world of music! She told us that Kishore Da was extremely nervous and came to her for some reassurance. Asha Bhosle told Kishore Kumar, “There is nothing to worry about. With your graceful voice, you can surpass many singers and win hearts around the world.”
This is a prime example of how a few words of encouragement never hurt anyone!
