Sadda lover, Diljit Dosanjh was on our latest episode of Sunday Brunch with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, along with actor Neeru Bajwa. Our guests were Punjabis and it was only right for Kamiya to bring out the Punjabi accent she acquired from her Punjabi husband, Sammar Verma. Diljit Dosanjh Spoke About His Surname And His Pind Name In Punjab
While researching Diljit’s childhood and background, Kamiya acquired some insights about his pind, a word used for a village in Punjabi. She confirmed if it was Dosanjh Kalan and he agreed. This further ignited a curiosity about his surname, Dosanjh.
She asked him if his pind was the reason behind his surname. He simply said that both his pind and surname are the same. Did you know this cool fact about him? He then added that he spent 10 years of his childhood in this village and made loads of sweet memories before moving to Ludhiana.
