Vijay Deverakonda, Radhikka Madan And Jasleen Royal’s Thoughts On Career After Marriage

After a lot of discussion about food, we touched on the topic of love, marriage and career. Kamiya was curious to learn their thoughts on marriage and whether it affects one’s career. Vijay Deverakonda straight away said, “It doesn’t have to. It’s a little harder on women for sure but for a singer, it doesn’t matter. Depends on the profession, if you are a teacher, I don’t think marriage should affect your career.”

Radhikka and Jasleen were on the same page about this question. It doesn’t matter to them at all and their focus is to live life on their terms while blocking out all the negative noise from the outside world. They even talked about how Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani had a drastic positive change in their careers owing to an increase in popularity after their marriage. 

Despite being frequently pestered by the media, they resumed work and gave blockbuster hits on the big screens. So, as per our guests, merely getting married doesn’t hinder actors’ other aspects of their lives, sometimes it boosts their careers as well. To conclude, marriage doesn’t make much of a difference.

Does Marring Early, Like Shah Rukh Khan, Change Anything?

The question of career and marriage is not just limited to women. Men are also subjected to societal norms. Jasleen spoke about King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, getting hitched to the love of his life, Gauri Khan at quite an early age. He slowly rose to fame and ruled the hearts of people, not just in India but worldwide! So, even marrying at a young age doesn’t make much of a difference, according to them.
