Many of us had the experience of being surprised with free liquor shots after visiting a pub. But imagine visiting a place and being surprised with free COVID shots. Guess what, one of the strangest places in the world has come up with these shots. It is Count Dracula’s castle in the stunning Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania, popularly known as the Bran Castle. People who turned up at the castle during the weekend discovered that the place is giving free COVID-19 shots. As a matter of fact, anyone who visits the Bran Castle on any May weekend can get free Pfizer shots. The castle aims to encourage the vaccination of 10 million Romanians by September.

Getting Vaccinated At Dracula’s Home

The pandemic situation has given rise to vaccination tourism and now Dracula’s Castle will offer free COVID-19 vaccine shots to visitors every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in May. To avail the facility, the visitors do not need to take any prior appointment. They simply need to turn up at the castle and fill up a form. With this vaccination scheme, the castle aims to attract more tourists. To promote the vaccination drive, the castle has converted vampire fangs into syringes. The Castle Aims To Boost The Vaccination Process In The Country

According to a BBC report, the Romania government aims to vaccinate 10 million citizens by September. But Romania is also a country in Europe with one of the highest hesitancy levels, as per the Globsec survey. Many people in the nation are not inclined to take the vaccine. This campaign by the Bran Castle is encouraging people to take the jab and boost the vaccination process. California’s renowned Disneyland has also started COVID vaccination by dedicating a part of its campus for it. England’s Salisbury Cathedral and Scotland’s The Time Capsule Waterpark have also started similar campaigns.
