Dubai Culture and Khalifa University Team Up for a Dig

This collaboration promises to be anything but old-school. The two powerhouses will pool their expertise and cutting-edge technology to explore two key sites: Saruq Al Hadid and Al Ashoosh. Armed with remote-sensing satellites, they’ll scout for hidden structures, tombs, and other buried treasures. Khalifa University’s scientists have developed advanced geophysical survey techniques that will be crucial in this endeavour.
Once the discoveries start rolling in, advanced processing techniques will be applied. Researchers will create three-dimensional models of their finds, placing them in their historical and environmental contexts. This tech-savvy approach will bring Dubai’s ancient history to life like never before.
Building Bridges, One Dig At A Time
لا تفوّتوا استكشاف بيت ساروق الحديد… pic.twitter.com/zZncM0SbXt
