Not too long ago, the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific and Middle East released its airport connectivity report. In this report, a passenger’s ability to access the global air transport network and capturing both direct and indirect routes was measured. As it happens, the quality of service of each connection was also factored in while compiling the list.

Additionally, it was also mentioned that a growth of 26% in the Middle East was recognised in terms of total connectivity. While the same for Asia-Pacific saw a decline by -38%. As it happens, the Dubai International Airport topped this connectivity index and this is hardly surprising, as it has over 255 destinations on its comprehensive list of network. Not to mention, the airport has maintained its ranks since 2022, which is fantastic.
