1. UAE Leads Global Red Light Therapy Adoption
Recently, it was unveiled in a study that seven and 10 UAE residents have tried red light therapy. This comes up at a time when the Gulf state is grappling with white-spread sleep difficulties. Not to mention, there are also rising skincare concerns that have contributed to this development. For those who aren’t aware, this therapy can be administered through several devices. Handheld wands, full body panels, face masks, or even wands are some of the most common ways to do so in the UAE.
2. Dubai Prepares For UAE SWAT Challenge
Dubai is preparing for the UAE SWAT Challenge and 114 teams from 48 countries will be participating. This will be the largest edition since 2019 with eight nations participating for the first time! In fact, there are six debut college teams and 33 expert judges who will also be a part of this tournament. Not to mention, there will be five challenges, which include tactical operations, assault, officers rescue, tower, and obstacle course.
3. A New Road Network To Serve Pilgrims In Mecca
Recently, it was revealed that Saudi authorities have built 283 km of new roads that will be linking parts of the kingdom to Mecca. Yes, serving the pilgrims, these projects have been built by the Saudi Roads General Authority. Yes, this includes an expressway linking Riyadh to the Western city of Taif. Moreover, several pedestrian crossings have also been built to boost pilgrim traffic.
4. Emirates Opens Lounge For 80,000 Staff & Job Seekers
Emirates opened a huge lounge at its headquarters on Wednesday, January 22. The futuristic lounge is called ‘Wejhaty’ which will serve over 80,000 of its employees and their families. Not to mention, new joiners and jobseekers will also benefit from this. For those who weren’t aware, Wejhaty means ‘my destination’ in Arabic.
5. Dubai International Boat Show To Kick Off In February
It was recently revealed that the 31st edition of the Dubai International Boat Show will begin in February. Yes, this will be happening from February 19 to 23 at Dubai Harbour. Organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre, it would feature 1000 exhibitors. Not to mention, 200 boats will be on display for the visitors at this edition.
