1. Dubai RTA Aims To Enhance Metro Link Bus Routes

Dubai RTA now plans to launch four new metro link bus routes. Yes, this is for the purpose of enhancing the services of several other routes. This includes one Intercity Route that starts on August 30th! In fact, the adjustment aims to improve the daily commute experiences for passengers. So, this will allow them to reach their destinations safely!

2. Al Ain City Municipality Implements Public Lighting Management System

The city municipality has implemented an innovative public lighting management system. The aim is to digitally control road lighting networks. In fact, it’s also for the purpose of developing malfunction response capabilities, rationalising energy consumption, and supporting sustainability in the emirate.

3. Kuwait Cautions Citizens Against Bad Weather

The Ministry of Interior of Kuwait has issued a warning to the public to be careful. This is due to a dust storm and poor weather that has reduced visibility in some areas. As a result, residents have been advised to contact the emergency number (112) for security and traffic assistance. Moreover, sea-goers have been encouraged to contact the Coast Guard in case of emergencies.

4. Saudia Is Offering 20% Discount

Saudia is offering a 20% discount on any of its domestic flights. This offer is valid on their Guest Class and all you need to do is use the promo code SV20. However, the sale will be valid till today, August 27, and the travel period should be between September – 30, 2024.

5. Saudi Arabia Is A Crucial Market For Sri Lanka’s Tourism

It’s important to note that Saudi Arabia is a crucial market for Sri Lanka’s tourism. So, the nation seeks to attract more visitors from the Kingdom to further boost its hospitality sector. So, they’ve launched several initiatives to revive its tourism industry. For instance, they also issued free tourist visas to visitors from 35 countries, including Saudi Arabia.
