Dubai has always extended its hand to help people of all kinds. The initiatives raised by the government always have a perspective inclusive to help senior citizens & people of determination. Similarly to turn transactions easier for the mentioned group of residents, Dubai Municipality has launched a campaign titled ‘Happiness Vehicle’.

In order to help senior persons and People of Determination, Dubai Municipality has established the Happiness Vehicle programme. The initiative will help apply for the Municipality’s smart electronic services. In accordance with this programme, older folks and the specially abled can reserve the car by indicating the service they need and where they are located. Following the application, an employee of the Municipality will then come to their home to assist them with the service.
The programme supports the Municipality’s efforts to create customized solutions that go above and beyond the needs of clients. It also enables them to perform their transactions effortlessly and quickly.
Call & Book To Get Doorstep Service
The “Happy Vehicle” initiative’s first phase will simplify services, such as the registration of applications.
Clients can reserve a vehicle by calling the municipal call centre at 800900 and selecting the service they need. The consumer will then get an appointment call to schedule the time and location. After making sure everything is correct, the employee will go to the client’s home to provide the service.
The next step is to hand over the paperwork. The Municipality had made a number of test runs with the vehicle as part of its ongoing efforts to increase community members’ levels of pleasure. By gathering comments and recommendations, it was also intended to improve the efficiency of the Happiness Vehicle and those in charge.
The list of services that would be provided to the senior citizens and people of determination is mentioned below.
It starts with the submission of requests for bulky trash removal, pest control services, and copies of authorised engineering designs. And the last ones are copies of completion certificates, “To Whom It May Concern” certificates, and issuance or renewal of land maps.
This initiative solely aims to benefit the above-mentioned group of people with easy and quick services.
