RollDxb Is For Skaters Of All Levels
Located in Mina Rashid, the fun, new spot was created by roller skating fanatics, who have been practicing for years now. The venue welcomes skaters of all levels, to come, learn, practice and enjoy!
Rolldxb is open Sunday to Wednesday from 2:30 -10:00 pm, from 2:30- 12 am on Thursdays and 10 am- 1 am on Friday and Saturday. And don’t worry about buying your own skates, you can rent a pair of boots onsite, along with all the mandatory protective gear.
A 90- minute session along with rentals costs AED 112 per person, but you can avail discounts if you bring along your own skated. Those who carry their own MOXI/Reidell skates can enjoy sessions at AED 95. You can purchase a pair of boots from AED 700 onwards.
Those who bring along quads or in-line skaters can enjoy a session for AED 105. The venue also has special weekend offers, where you can avail three double hour sessions for AED 185.
Rolldxb also offers private and group skating lessons. The group classes are segregated into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and cost AED 175, AED 225 and AED 325 for a one hour class. The classes will have a minimum of ten students.
Beginners can learn the fundamentals starting from, walking in stakes, balance and counter, balance, pushing, rolling, reflexes, stopping and turning. Intermediate lessons will improve previous learned skills, adding more maneuvers and style.
Besides, you’ll also be throwing in some dance moves on wheels.
