A few days ago, a video of a maskless Asian man dancing on the Dubai Metro had gone viral on TikTok. While people enjoyed the video that surfaced online, however, it didn’t go down well with the Dubai police. As the authorities have now arrested the man for this act. Read on to know more about it.

The Maskless Man Will Face Six Months Jail Time And Fine Of AED 5000 After Being Booked By Dubai Police
The Asian man who was dancing maskless on the Dubai metro has now been arrested by the Dubai Police on a charge of “Committing a Public Indecent Act.” The police have also reported the case, which states that the man was bothering other passengers with his unsuitable actions.
In the video, which was doing rounds on social media, the man was seen showing disrespectful and insensitive behaviour toward the people around him, according to Brigadier Obaid Al Hathboor, Director of Transport Security Department at Dubai Police. And as per the law, he will at least six-month prison or/and a fine of AED 5,000.
He Was Also Booked For Violating Covid Rules By Not Wearing Mask In A Public Space
While taking a charge of the incident, Dubai Police also mentioned that under Article (358) of the UAE Penal code states whoever openly commits an indecent and disgraceful act shall be punished by detention for a period of at least six months or/ and a fine of AED 5,000.

Well, while the man was booked for the indecent act in public, he was also booked for dancing without a face mask. The Director of the Transport Security Department revealed that the violator was also punished for disregarding to wear the mask in a public place.
