Dubai Restaurant Week, a key element of the annual Dubai Food Festival, offers a calendar of exclusive dining experiences in the city’s best restaurants. Running from 5 to 14 March, the food fest also features a bespoke Dubai Restaurant Week with specially crafted menus. Foodies can dine at attractive prices, saving up to 50 per cent. Etisalat Beach Canteen, Hidden Gems as well as the brand-new addition- Home Edition are also part of the 18-day food festival.
What’s It?
The 2020 edition of Dubai Restaurant Week (DRW) features 37 outlets, and menus created exclusively by some of the world’s top culinary masterminds, including five celebrity chefs – Gordon Ramsay, Vikas Khanna, Akira Back, Greg Malouf and Mathieu Viannay.
In 2020 DRW has been extended to lunchtime dining, which can be a great option for corporate teams and friends. With an array of restaurants to choose from offering two-course signature DRW menus, including COYA, Bread Street Kitchen and Hell’s Kitchen, to name just a few – there’s something for every foodie in the city!
This year, the participating restaurants are set to take diners on a global gourmet journey reflecting Dubai’s dominance as a world culinary hotspot. From contemporary dining at 3BK Armani Hotel, to rediscovering Lebanese specialities at Al Nafoorah, Dubai Restaurant Week offers an exciting culinary journey.
What To Expect
Stroll through the playful streets of Asia at Fairmont The Palm’s gourmet hideaway full of Asian mystery or head to Bleu Blanc for a rustic southern French charm. Meanwhile, if you’re craving contemporary Indian food, head to Masala Library from the legendary Jiggs Kalra.
Besides, Bang-on trend Peruvian-Nikkei food with unmatched views are on offer at Kayto restaurant at Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel; while the unique over-the-ocean PierChic Dubai has the most romantic dinner setting in case you’re planning a date night. Also try lunch at COYA, the London brand that brings Incan heritage and Latin American lifestyle to the Four Seasons Resort Dubai or take the time to tease your senses with whimsical Indian cuisine at Carnival by Tresind.
Italian lovers can head for a dinner on the Cortina terrace at Roberto’s while Japanese cuisine lovers can indulge in Paru by Michelin-star chef Akira Back. Diners can savour unforgettable dishes at unbeatable prices, with two-course lunches offered from just AED 75, to premium three course dinner experiences from AED 150.
