There are many bus routes in Dubai that make travelling in the city easier. And now, it’s bound to get better even on the weekends, as a new weekend exclusive bus route begins. Yes, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (Dubai RTA) announced that it will be launching W20, a weekend exclusive bus route which will operate from Friday to Sunday, starting on February 9.
Dubai RTA Launches W20 Bus Route
The new weekend exclusive bus route will be departing from Stadium Metro Station and reaching Al Mamzar Beach between 5 PM and 11 PM. As it happens, the service will depart on a half-early basis, thereby making it convenient for bus riders, especially, if they are going to the Al Mamzar Beach. As it happens, the intention is also to optimise several public bus routes in order to elevate the daily transport experience for people in the emirate.

With the motive of streamlining the mobility of bus commuters and reducing travel time, the Dubai RTA has also renewed some routes. For instance, Route 11B has been renamed as Route 11 to enhance the bus user experience. Not to mention, they have renamed Routes 16 A and 16 B as Route 16 and 25, respectively. It should be noted that Route 16 will start from Al Rashdiya Bus Station and head to Al Awir while Route 25 connects Gold Souq Bus Station with Al Rashdiya.

Some New Routes Were Also Renewed
Several modifications have also been made on some bus routes to enhance the daily travel experience. Making travelling better for passengers, Route F62 has been extended to include Dubai Festival City and the Al Garhoud neighbourhood. While the Route C04 has been extended to Mohammed bin Rashid Library. Similarly, Routes 103 and 106 will offer direct non-stop services from the main stations to the Global Village and Route 303 is being rerouted via Al Ittihad Street to Sharjah.
With so many changes happening on the bus routes, it is bound to make travelling in the city using public transport much more seamless.
