The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA) has resumed four dedicated bus routes to reach Global Village just in time for Season 29, kicking off this October 16 and running until May 11, 2025. With no direct Dubai Metro link, reaching Global Village was like playing a game of Monopoly, with lots of effort but less reward. Taxis and cars were the main modes of transport, leaving many families paying a bomb to reach their destination. However, thanks to the RTA, now there’s a much simpler way to arrive in style.
The newly reinstated bus routes include:
Route 102: Departing from Rashidiya Bus Station every 60 minutes.
Route 103: Leaving Union Bus Station every 40 minutes.
Route 104: Also from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, every 60 minutes.
Route 106: Buses set off from the Mall of the Emirates Bus Station every 60 minutes.
These comfy coach buses promise a safe, enjoyable ride for all visitors and families heading to Global Village. Last season, these buses proved to be a hit, transporting a whopping 573,759 passengers, a significant leap from 448,716 in Season 27. With ticket prices hovering around just Dhs 10 for a single trip, you can splurge on snacks and souvenirs at Global Village without breaking the bank!

This season, the vibrant venue showcases 30 country pavilions, representing 90 different cultures, a delightful increase from last year’s offerings. It’s like a mini-world tour without the hefty airfare!
From the tantalising aromas wafting from food stalls to the captivating performances on stage, Global Village will surely delight all age groups visiting the multicultural destination. Whether you’re keen on watching traditional dance performances or trying out international cuisines, this place is where cultures collide in the most exhilarating way possible. But wait, there’s more! The RTA has also announced the return of its popular tourist abra services within Global Village. Yes, you heard that right! Two electric-powered abras will ferry guests around the venue, adding a splash of charm to your visit.
