For the occasion of the UAE National Day, the Dubai RTA revealed important details. Yes, the transport authority revealed that they have extended hours for Dubai Metro and Tram throughout the weekend. Not only this, the abras, water taxis and even the ferry will be ready for service. Here’s more about the transport-related development.

Timings For Dubai Public Transport

In case you’re wondering about the schedule of the public transport system for the occasion of the Eid al Etihad, then they are as follows.

Dubai Metro

November 30
Timings: 5 am – 1 am
December 1
Timings: 8 am – 1 am
December 2
Timings: 5 am – 1 am
December 3
Timings: 5 am – 12 am

Dubai Tram

November 30
Timings: 6 am – 1 am
December 1
Timings: 9 am – 1 am
December 2
Timings: 6 am – 1 am
December 3
Timings: 6 am – 1 am

Water Taxi

Marina Mall to Bluewaters (BM3)
Timings: 4 pm – 11:50 pm (Booking required for on-demand service, which will be available from 3 pm to 11 pm)
Marina Mall 1 to Marina Walk (BM1)
Timings: 10 am – 11:10 pm
Marina Promenade to Marina Mall 1 (BM1)
Timings: 1:50 pm – 9:45 pm
Marina Terrace to Marina Walk (BM1)
Timings: 1:50 pm – 9:50 pm
Full Route: 3:55p m – 9:50 pm

2 Bus Routes Also Suspended For The Weekend

The comprehensive timings for the Dubai Ferry and Tourist Trips are available on the official website of the Dubai RTA. Besides this, timings for bus routes have also been changed, which you might want to check from the Shail app. Moreover, two bus route services will also be suspended over the weekend. For instance, the E100 Bus Route from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will not be operational till December 3. So, you might alternatively want to use the E101 Route. It will let you travel from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi during this period. Similarly, the E102 Bus Route will also be unavailable till December 3.

So, keep these developments in mind if you do plan to venture out, during the long weekend.
