GITEX Global is an ongoing event that is a hotbed of development in Dubai. With many exciting things being revealed at the ongoing event, the Dubai RTA has also revealed something for the people. Yes, they have revealed smart stations that they expect to launch in Dubai. In fact, six such smart stations are expected to be strategically located across the city to enhance public amenities. Dubai Roads & Transport Authority revealed its smart station at the ongoing GITEX Global. It revealed these smart stations would be deployed across the city strategically. Featuring smart screens, they will offer a wide range of services that have been designed for the modern commuter. As revealed in their post on X, they aim to offer the latest innovations, pioneering initiatives and smart mobility solutions, all powered by AI.

This Smart Station Is Powered By AI

In fact, a report by Khaleej Times also mentions that the smart station will be able to perform other functions besides the basic services that have been created through an interactive screen, which is powered by AI. They are equipped with emergency buttons that connect the user directly to police or even control stations in dire situations. Not to mention, you might also get to charge your phone, access free internet, and even park a bicycle or fill its tyres with air while you are at it. And all of this will happen in one place itself! As it happens, the plan is to roll them out in Al Barsha before it is expanded to additional locations.

GITEX Global began on Monday, October 14 and it’s going to be happening till October 18. Taking place at the World Trade Centre, it is regarded as the world’s largest tech and start-up event that allows people to interact and learn about innovation across several industries.
