Yes, UAE’s first Emirati Astronaut will soon be packing bags to make a trip to the Moon. The ambitious region of UAE plans on building a Lunar Space Station. Dubai Ruler, Mohammed Bin Rashid announced this big news officially. So here are some more details about the upcoming project by UAE.
UAE Astronaut To Land On The Moon!
One will soon witness a collaborative effort between countries like UAE, Canada, The United States Of America, Japan and the European Union. The effort to build this Lunar Space Station is unique, hence these countries are taking deep interest in supporting the project.
UAE President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was present while this announcement was made. He added how the years of scientific exploration and innovations have come useful to launch this project. Also, he expressed his gratitude towards the collaborating countries.
He announced how this project will prove to be humanity’s first space station around the Moon.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced that the UAE will send the first Emirati astronaut to the Moon and will construct a lunar space station in collaboration with the United States of America, Canada, Japan, and the European Union.
