All About CSS Fungi In Expo City

Although fungi play an essential role in ecology, they have so far been overlooked when it comes to the conservation process. This is a key part of the ecosystem as it supports plant health, nutrient cycling, carbon storage, potential medical uses, and even in the resilience of the ecosystem. And now the centre in Expo City Dubai is dedicated towards focusing on the fungi from this region initially. With the priority of launching assessments for the global fungi-focused list, it will offer a comprehensive scientific evaluation of the extinction risk of species.
As it happens, the CSS Fungi will be working closely with IUCN. This is the International Union for Conservation of Natural Species Survive Commission.
Enchanted Forest Festival At Terra
And, you even have a chance to learn more about fungi and the important role they play in the ecosystem. You can do so through the Enchanted Forest Festival. The tickets are already available on the official website, and this festival will be happening on June 28 and 29. Although kids under 12 years can enter for free, tickets for adults will set you back by AED50.
Now, talking about the festival, this is an indoor adventure that lets you step into the fascinating world of fun. Complete with family-friendly activities, these include storytelling sessions, children’s workshops, under the forest guided tours, photo opportunities, and face painting & a mushroom mascot.
All of this really sounds like a great way to learn about fungi, doesn’t it? Well, you can expect food and even engaging entertainment that will be perfect to quell your curiosity.
