Dubai To Celebrate Bahrain’s National Day Today With Fireworks, Performances & More

The Kingdom of Bahrain is all set to celebrate it’s 49th National Day today. And to add more to their celebrations, with a host of activities, Dubai will commemorate the national day of Bahrain today. The ceremony will further reflect the strong ties between the UAE and Bahrain and the peoples of both countries.

Iconic Landmarks Will Light Up Today To Celebrate Bahrain National Day In Dubai 

Bahraini expats and citizens will visit Dubai to mark the celebrations. The National Day celebrations will concur with the iconic Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). DSF will run from 17 December to 30 January, giving Bahraini families more reasons to visit Dubai. Well not only this, but the emirate is also actively camping about the Bahrain National Day celebrations through a dedicated campaign across digital and social media platforms.

For the celebrations, today you will see iconic landmarks like Burj Al Arab and the Dubai Frame being illumined in the colours of the national flag of Bahrain at 7:00 PM in a display of friendship and esteem between the two nations. Well, that’s not it, Dubai Festival City Mall will also host a Bahrain National Day-themed edition of IMAGINE, the record-breaking laser and light show.

From Live Performances To Varied Deals, Bahraini and UAE-ites Will Get To Enjoy A Host Of Fun Things

Visitors will enjoy traditional bands at Deira City Centre, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, Ibn Battuta Mall and Dubai Festival City on 16 December. In addition to Al Khawaneej Walk, City Walk, The Beach, Al Seef and The Pointe on 17 December.

On this, Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said,

The range of activities in Dubai to celebrate the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain is a testament to the strong relations that exist between the UAE and Bahrain.” 

Adding more about the Dubai Shopping Festival, he said, 

“We are delighted that the celebrations marking Bahrain National Day will be followed by the launch of our much-awaited Dubai Shopping Festival. It will give more choices and the diversity of offerings for families. As we welcome our guests to the Bahrain National Day celebrations, we would also encourage them to extend their stay to enjoy the opening day activities of DSF, as well as the festival’s full range of attractions, entertainment and shopping experiences.”

With a plethora of deals and entertainment, Bahrain Day will be celebrated on a grand scale in Dubai today.
