1. Jeddah Historic District Welcomes More Than 1 Million Visitors

More than 1 million visitors have flocked to Jeddah Historic District. This has happened during the first week of Ramadan, Season 2025, which marks an unprecedented turnup. Organised by the Jeddah Historic District programme, this is done under the Ministry of Culture and is certainly one of the most prominent events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2. Taxpayers Urged To Submit Registrations In The UAE

The UAE has asked taxpayers to submit registrations this month. They are asked to do so in order to avoid fines. Not to mention, the UAE’s Federal Tax Authority had reaffirmed this need for the Tax Registration application submission for the Corporate Tax to be no later than the end of March 2025.

3. Dubai Welcomes Visitors With Special Stamps

Dubai is welcoming visitors with a special stamp on their passports. Yes, marking the Islamic month of Ramadan, the new logo is being stamped onto the passports of people arriving in the city through land or airport. This is for the second year in a row when the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs has welcomed inbound passengers to the emirate. They are stamping their passports with the Ramadan in Dubai

4. Marcos Marín’s Dazzling Exhibition Arrives at ME By Meliá Dubai

A mesmerising exhibition has come to the Middle East. An exhibition at ME By Meliá Dubai, this is an exhibition by Brazilian artist Marcos Marín. Transforming the hotel into a living canvas, the exhibition will be happening from March 18th to April 20th. As it happens, it honours Zaha Hadid on March 31, which marks the anniversary of her passing.

5. Oman Earns 58th Rank In The Economic Freedom Index 2025

This year, the Economic Freedom Index has ranked Oman in the 58th position. This is brilliant as the score has gone up from the previous 62.9 to the current 65.4. This makes the economy the 58th freest in the Index of Economic Freedom 2025. As it happens, the leading rank in the Middle East was led by the UAE, scoring the 23rd position. It’s worth mentioning that Singapore is the world’s leading economy.
