Dubai World Cup Set To Make A New Record
The 28th Dubai World Cup, which is happening today, is all set to break massive records. Aiming to set a new Guinness World Record, a fleet of 4000 specialised drones is going to deliver a unique 33-minute display. The show will be with the help of pyrotechnics and LED lights, creating a dynamic 3-D sculpture in the sky. Thereby, offering a visually stunning experience for the crowds at the stunning Meydan Racecourse.
This Is The 28th Edition Of The Prestigious Competition
In fact, following the exciting world record bid, crowds will be treated to a pulsating action on the track. Therein, 14 nationalities will compete, which will see more than 150 countries tuning in, to watch one of the world’s premier sporting events. As it happens, this competition was launched in 1996 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE. His vision was to establish a premium platform for advanced racing and it still remains a timeless event.

Coming to the show, individuals will be competing to win the exceeding prize of AED200,000 in Dubai World Cup-style stakes. As it happens, the glamorous racegoers will also get to compete in five categories, like Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Man, Best Traditional Outfit, Best Hat, and Best Dressed Couple. it’s worth mentioning that the registrations for Dubai World Cup stakes open at 1 PM at Concourse 4, Apron Views, and Concourse 2. Not to mention, this action gets underway with a Group 1 Kahalaya classic for Purebred Arabians at 3:30 PM.
Free Shuttle For Attendees
With the event beginning at 1 PM and going on until 12 AM, several free shuttle buses are being made available for attendees. Yes, this was announced in a post by Dubai RTA on X, (formerly Twitter), which also mentioned about alternative parking locations. In the post, it mentions that attendees will be transported from these alternative parking locations to the event location through free shuttle buses.
