Five Iron Expands To Business Bay In Dubai, As The Emirate Gets Another Indoor Golf Hangout!

Golf in Dubai usually comes with early mornings, blazing heat and very expensive memberships. But indoor golf is slowly becoming a thing in the Emirates, especially for people who want the social side without standing outside in the afternoon. That’s probably why Five Iron Golf has opened a second venue in Dubai, this time right in Business Bay.

Five Iron Golf Opens New Indoor Sports & Entertainment Spot In Business Bay

The new spot sits inside DAMAC Towers by Paramount, not far from DIFC, Downtown Dubai and Dubai Mall. Which means it’s clearly aimed at the after-work crowd as much as actual golfers.

It’s Golf, But Also A Cool Place To Socialise

The venue is around 6,500 square feet and comes with five golf simulators powered by Trackman technology. Basically, people can practise swings, play virtual rounds on famous golf courses or compete with friends without ever stepping onto real grass.

Also, the simulators analyse swings from different angles, which is great if someone genuinely wants to improve. The venue also includes multi-sport simulators with games linked to football and disc golf, along with interactive group challenges. So even people who have never touched a golf club before can still join in without awkwardly standing around pretending to understand golf terminology.

There’s also a private simulator room for smaller groups, meetings or corporate gatherings. Which feels very Business Bay, honestly.

Dubai’s Summer Heat Probably Helped This Idea

For many residents, indoor entertainment becomes survival mode during summer. And businesses know it.

So places combining sport, food, drinks and air-conditioning tend to do well, especially in areas filled with offices and apartment towers.

That said, Five Iron seems to be leaning heavily into the hospitality side, too. The new location includes a sports bar setup, lounge seating, darts and pool tables alongside the golf experience.

Also, people can try out equipment through Callaway fitting sessions, which give regular players a chance to test clubs and technology before buying anything.

Dubai’s Indoor Sports Scene Keeps Growing

With its previous & 1st Dubai venue at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, the company says demand for tech-led sports entertainment in Dubai has grown quickly since then.

The company currently operates more than 40 locations globally and has backing from investors, including Callaway Golf.

The Business Bay branch is now officially open for bookings, private events and group sessions.
