As the UAE received unprecedented rainfall across several emirates with unstable weather continuing throughout on Thursday and Friday, now public spaces finally opened, especially in the emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Yes, as life goes back to normal in the emirates of Dubai and in Abu Dhabi, weekend plans can be followed by residents and citizens.

Abu Dhabi & Dubai Public Spaces Start To Open

As announced by the Abu Dhabi Media Office, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, parks and beaches are reopening as the conditions improve. They were temporarily closed on December 18th due to heavy torrential rains and high-speed winds. Not only this, but Dubai has also announced that with the weather conditions improving, beaches, public parks and open markets have returned to a normal schedule. Yes, this was announced by the Dubai Municipality, which issued the notice stating the same. However, the authorities have urged people to exercise caution and to ensure they continue to follow safety measures.

UAE Saw Unstable Weather Conditions Over The Last 2 Days

This development comes after many open-air, public sites, markets, beaches, and parks were closed due to unstable weather conditions across the UAE. Coming to the latest weather updates, it is expected that the low-pressure system will extend over the country on Saturday, which is today. With there being partly cloudy to cloudy skies at times, cloud formations are expected over parts of the country. However, rainfall is most likely to be scattered across the country. In fact, it is also possible that there might be rain in coastal areas on December 21st, as reported by the Gulf News. Yes, with there being a chance of rainfall, one must exercise caution while stepping out.

Lowest Temperature Recorded At Jebel Jais

Not only this, but NCM in its latest weather bulletin mentioned that the country has recorded the lowest temperature this morning. Yes, the temperature was recorded at 3.5°C at the Jebel Jais Mountain, which is in Ras Al Khaimah; this is the lowest temperature yet for the season. Even though life is returning to normal, people have been asked to follow safety measures in case of rain and avoid breaking safety measures regulations in order to ensure not just their safety, but for others who are driving on the road.
