As Dubai RTA Turns 20, You Can Grab Everything From Freebies To nol Cards; Here’s How

Dubai Roads and Transport Authority is celebrating its 20th anniversary. With the authority celebrating two decades of moving the city forward, this is being supported by a series of month-long events. There are even some fun rewards and experiences that will be available for commuters, as revealed on the official website of the RTA. Whether it’s limited edition nol cards or even cinema discounts, here is all you need to know about this month-long offering.

Dubai RTA Celebrates 20 Years!

Dubai RTA is giving back to the community, and how! Celebrating its 20th anniversary, they are offering fun-filled experiences for commuters through a month-long series of events and rewards. In fact, the authority, as revealed in the same report, also plans to turn select bus and metro stations into celebration zones. These celebration zones would offer gifts, a photo booth, special discounts, and even interactive activations that would make it hard to miss for the residents.

Dubai RTA has planned on giving away some exquisite offerings, as mentioned on the official website, which include the following:

Limited Edition nol Cards
Limited edition nol cards, which would be available from November 1st to 30th, can exclusively be collected from the Dubai Metro stations. These are exclusive 20th anniversary nol cards and can be collected from the vending machines and ticket kiosks.

Roxy Cinema Surprises
From November 1st – 5th, Roxy Cinema is giving moviegoers a 20% discount on cinema tickets if they use the code RTA20.

Noon Surprises
From November 1st to 5th, you can enjoy a 20% cashback on orders if you use the promo code RTA 20.

Tram X The Entertainer
This is an ongoing offering that allows frequent riders to win The Entertainer UAE 2026. This includes access to over 10,000 two-for-one offers across dining, attractions, and more. However, this is only available till November 2nd.

Tourist Photo Challenge
Visitors arriving at DXB Airport can join in on the celebration through the Tourist Photo Challenge. Those who participate will receive a welcome back and even have a chance to be featured on the social media pages of the RTA. This challenge is available from October 28th to November 1st.

20-Second Gift Grab
At the Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and Insurance Market Metro Station, visitors can step into the RTA booth and try to grab as many gifts as possible in 20 seconds. These include everything from electronics to eatables. However, it’s worth noting that the Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will do so from 9 AM to 11 AM, and the Insurance Market Metro Station will offer this from 11 AM to 1 PM. Additionally, this 20-Second Gift Grab is available only on November 1st.

Photobooth and Art Frame
This will be available at BurJuman Metro Station on November 1st from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will get to pose at the giant art frames and even take a digital photocopy from the interactive Photo Booth.

Balloons And Smiles
On November 1st, at the Onpassive Metro Station and Sobha Realty Tram Station at 10 AM, BurJuman Metro Station at 9 AM, and Insurance Market Metro Station and Umm Ramool Customer Happiness Centre at 11 AM, the RTA will be spreading cheer.

At this point, it should be noted that there are several other exciting offerings that are available for people in Dubai that they cannot miss. After all, it allows them to celebrate 20 years of growth through some of the most fun-filled ways.
