If you’re the kind of person who enjoys a National Day celebration that feels warm, spirited, and genuinely community-driven, come to The Square at Nad Al Sheba Gardens this weekend. This year, the destination rolls out a two-day program on December 1 and 2. It balances heritage, modern creativity, and family-friendly fun in a way that feels both personal and inclusive.

The Square transforms the entire space into an open cultural playground. Expect performances, artists move through the walkways, interacting with visitors, and create moments that feel organic. It’s the kind of environment where you just don’t watch the celebration, you participate.
Culture, Community, And Two Evenings Of Live Performances
UAE’s 54th National Day format is intimate, thoughtful, and full of creativity. From the country’s young talent to established artists, expect a lively mix of performers who bring both traditional and contemporary styles.
A Tribute That Feels Right
You’ll spot UAE flags across the venue. And here’s the lineup worth stepping out for.
Here’s what the two evenings will look like:
Monday, 1 December
- Rashed Al Marzooqi (Piano): 7:00–7:30 PM & 8:30–9:00 PM
- Not So Human (Singer & Guitarist): 7:45–8:15 PM & 9:15–10:00 PM
- Alya Al Sanad Photography Experience: 7:00–11:00 PM
Tuesday, 2 December
- Ghenwa (Qanun): 7:00–7:30 PM & 8:50–9:20 PM
- Youth Choir: 7:45–8:05 PM
- Eman AlHashimi (Piano): 8:10–8:40 PM & 9:30–10:00 PM
- Alya Al Sanad Photography Experience: 7:00–11:00 PM
It’s a blend of instrumental pieces, soulful vocals, youth performances, and a creative photography activation. Visitors can step into the artistic process rather than just observe it.
Food, Family, And Familiar Favourites
Of course, it wouldn’t be The Square without a line-up of Dubai-loved eateries. Whether you want something sweet from Home Bakery, ramen from SLRP, comfort classics from Public, or a refined treat from Cipriani Dolci, you’ll find your cravings covered. Kids also get their own corner with the Art’ Play area.
With parking for over 550 cars, the venue has sorted that out too. This National Day, The Square invites residents and visitors to slow down, gather, and celebrate the UAE’s story through music, culture, food, and community.
