Eid Al Etihad: UAE Confirms Live Nationwide Broadcast For Its 54th National Day Celebration

Every year, the UAE finds a way to remind people why this place feels like home. National Day is a moment when the entire country pauses, looks back at how far it has come, and celebrates the journey with pride. And this year, the celebrations are getting a major upgrade. The UAE’s 54th National Day show will be broadcast live across every emirate. So, no matter where you are, consider this an invitation to join in Eid Al Etihad Celebrations, no matter where you live in the UAE.

UAE’s 54th National Day: A United Celebration Set To Light Up All Seven Emirates

Expect these shows to blend heritage, music, and a sense of unity. The fact that everyone can watch from their own neighbourhoods this year makes the experience feel even more personal.

A Celebration That Brings Everyone Together

National Day, or Eid Al Etihad, falls on December 2. The date everything changed as the UAE came together as one country in 1971. Six emirates united on that historic day, with Ras Al Khaimah joining shortly after. More than five decades later, the spirit of that union is maintained.

As mentioned in a report by The National, this year’s theme, “United”, invites more than 200 nationalities who call the UAE home. Be it a long-time resident or just someone who moved here last week, they can be a part of the celebration.

Where To Watch The Ceremony

The exact venue for the main show is still under wraps, but the list of broadcast locations is already out. Each emirate has its own viewing spots, turning parks, waterfronts and community spaces into gathering points.

In Abu Dhabi, the screening will take place across several neighbourhoods, including Khalifa City, Al Falah and Al Shamkha, along with majlis across the emirate.
Al Dhafra will host screenings at parks in Liwa, Sila and Ghayathi.
Al Ain residents can head to the airport area or several majlis, including Al Maqam and Al Masoudi.
Dubai keeps it lively as always with screenings at Al Khawaneej, Global Village and Dubai Festival City Mall.
Sharjah follows with Al Suyoh Park and Kshisha Park.
Ajman offers Marsa Ajman, Al Jurf Family Park and Al Waraqa Park.
Umm Al Quwain’s waterfront will light up for the occasion.
Ras Al Khaimah will bring people together at Corniche Al Qawasim and the RAK Flagpole. Fujairah will screen the ceremony at Umbrella Beach.

If you prefer watching from home, you’re covered; the entire show will air on local TV and stream online.

A Tradition Of Storytelling

Every year’s ceremony highlights a different layer of the UAE’s identity. Last year’s event at Jebel Hafeet blended music, storytelling and nature. Previous shows have showcased national milestones like Etihad Rail, giving people a glimpse of what’s ahead.

This December, the UAE comes together once again to share a story everyone here is part of.
