flydubai is a Dubai-based airline that is known for offering connectivity to several cities across the Middle East and the world. And now they have officially been given a title, once again. Yes, it has been named the ‘Airline With Best Connectivity In The Middle East’ for the third time. This is a great achievement for the airline, and here’s all you need to know about this development.

flydubai was recently awarded the Airline With The Best Connectivity In The Middle East at the Third Business Traveller Middle East Award 2026. This comes at a time when the airline continues to expand its network from Dubai. In fact, it was just recently that the airline launched three weekly flights to Benghazi, which is in Libya. Yes, the flight services to the city began on June 17th, wednesday. Not to mention, the airline is now also preparing to start daily flights to Bangkok, Thailand, from July 1st onwards. Moreover, it will also be starting flights to Pokhara, Nepal, from September 23rd.

More About Summer Travel Period Operation

At this point, it should be noted that during the summer travel period, the airline is operating seasonal flights. These are the destinations of Al Alamein, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Antalya, Batumi, Olbia, Santorini, and Trabzon. Finally, it’s worth mentioning that this is not the first time that the airline has been given this award. In fact, it is the third time that they have managed to secure this award, and the airline continues to remain committed towards opening up underserved markets.

Emirates Is Also Expanding Its Services

However, not just flydubai, but another Dubai-based airline, Emirates, is also adding several new routes, and it’s also increasing its frequency on certain routes. Yes, Emirates has announced that it will be adding four more weekly flights between Dubai and Accra, the capital of Ghana. This will begin from July 12th, which will increase its services to Ghana to 11 flights in a week. The additional services will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. With the addition of the new flights, the airline plans to meet the demand on the Dubai-Ghana route.
