The last summer, the Byblos Hotel in Barsha Heights of Dubai closed its doors. With the closure of this hotel, the Crown and Lion pub also shut its doors. As a result, people were certainly saddened by the development as this was a local favourite. However, now the property is open once, again but under a new name. Called Social Hotel, this has now opened in the buzzing neighbourhood. In fact, a popular Irish pub has also popped up at this hotel.

Byblos Hotel Has Rebranded As A Social Hotel In Dubai

Operating under the new name, Social Hotel has now rebranded the erstwhile Byblos Hotel. This is located in the neighbourhood of Barsha Heights and the hotel has elegant rooms, featuring ceiling-to-floor windows. Besides the pretty decor, these rooms feature blackout curtains for uninterrupted sleep! In fact, these rooms are offered in four different categories to fit the tastes of guests and their varying budgets! Not to mention, it has an outdoor pool and terrace bar. The newly rebranded hotel has been designed in such a way that it caters to the tastes of Gen Z and Millennials.

Fibber Magees Has Opened Its Second Outlet Here

As it happens, Fibber Magees, which is a popular Irish Pub has also opened its doors to the second outlet in Dubai here. The interiors are similar to the original place with plenty of woodwork. Complete with exposed brickwork replicating traditional irish pubs, there is a stage in the centre where live music will be playing for guests. Just behind the stage is a super-sized screen, allowing guests to catch up and cheer for their favourite teams on match days. In case you’re wondering, the menu offers delightful pub dishes that makes it a great place to snack while you drink.

Moreover, this is a smoke-free club, which mirrors the Sheikh Zayed Road original that recently decided to ban smoking indoors. The best part about this is that they are celebrating their opening with happy hours every day till June 23.
