Dubai’s Golf District To Get A 10 Million Sq. Ft Wellness Community With 2,500 Homes Near Al Maktoum Airport

A brand-new wellness-focused community called Hayat has just made headlines in Dubai. And it’s not for what it promises, but for how fast it sold out. Nestled right next to Al Maktoum International Airport, this project by Dubai South Properties quietly dropped  and vanished from the market within hours

Hayat Wellness Community Near Al Maktoum Airport Sells Out In Hours

Now, about Hayat, the scale is huge. The total site spans 10 million square feet, and the design centres around wellness and greenery. It’s not just about housing but about lifestyle. The community will have parks, shaded walkways, fitness centres, wellness zones, family play areas, and landscaped gardens. Basically, it’s being planned as a peaceful residential zone away from the chaos, but still very connected.

With 2,500 residential units in the plan, including townhouses, semi-detached villas, standalone villas, mansions, apartments, and hotel-style units, there’s a home for every lifestyle. And clearly, buyers couldn’t get their cheques out fast enough. The first two phases sold out within hours. That’s not hype, it’s a serious demand.

Blink And You Missed It! Dubai’s Latest Wellness Haven Just Sold Out

The response to the launch has been immediate. The first two phases sold out within hours. There’s a strong demand for this kind of wellness-focused, all-in-one community. It happens especially when it’s right next door to what’s set to be the world’s busiest airport.

Easy access is another big win. Hayat connects directly to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Emirates Road, and Al Maktoum Airport. That’s a huge plus for frequent flyers and anyone working in fast-paced industries. In terms of amenities, there will also be a retail boulevard built into the neighbourhood. So basic shopping, dining, cafés, and services will be readily available within the community. Absolutely no need to drive out for everyday errands.

A Calm Oasis Minutes From The Future Of Air Travel

As for timelines, the first phase is expected to be completed by mid-2028. Given how quickly the initial phases were booked, there’s a good chance the next launch phase will also attract strong interest.

Also, it’s worth noting that the area is being significantly upgraded. A AED150 million drainage project has just been launched to manage stormwater and future-proof the infrastructure. This shows how seriously Dubai South is being developed.

In short, Hayat is what appeals to people who want calm, well-designed homes with strong future value potential. If you know anyone keeping an eye on Dubai real estate, this is definitely one to watch.
