Durga Puja has been celebrated spectacularly for years in several places in Bengaluru. In 2024, many committees chose unique themes for majestic pandals and elaborate celebrations.

1. Green Glen Layout Cultural Association

Bellandur’s Sobha Lakeview Clubhouse is organising Green Glen Layout Cultural Association’s grand Anandotsab 2024. The association is celebrating Durga Puja with a unique Prantik-themed pandal. Decked up with Chittara murals, Madhubani art, Pattachitra paintings, palm leaves decor, and more, this extraordinary approach honours the indigenous tribal communities of West Bengal.

2. Assam Association Bangalore

According to a report by the Deccan Herald, Assam Association Bangalore’s Durga Puja pandal focuses on the concept of gender equality. With the celebrations, the association aims to raise awareness on this significant subject and women’s empowerment.

This year, the artists recreated this majestic palace as the theme for the pujo pandal. Nestled in West Bengal’s Nadia district, this historical palace was built in the 18th century.
