Girl Impressed Dutch Friends With Indian Mangoes
Digital creator Rashi Agarwal Favier lives in the Netherlands and often posts about her life there. She has been living there for the last five years and revealed many cultural shocks and differences between the two countries. In her latest post, she made some of her Dutch friends try Indian mangoes and recorded their reactions.
In the video, she said, “Ruining my friends forever by making them try Indian mangoes.” She added in the caption, “Because western mangoes are a SCAM!!” And well, her friends’ reactions did not disappoint. Her first friend said, “Oh my God! Everything before this was a lie. It’s so good,” as she grabbed a few more bites from the bowl.
“It melts in the mouth! Very creamy, very rich, very sweet! I love Indian mango,” another friend of hers agreed. One of them was very impressed by how the mango wasn’t “stringy” and really sweet.
Netizens React To The Hilarious Video
As you can imagine, the comments section on this post was a hilarious goldmine! While desi netizens never doubted the deliciousness of Indian mangoes, they were really glad that the fruit is getting much-deserved appreciation abroad. Many people in the comments wanted to know which variety of mango the group tried and hoped that Rashi made them try the juicy Alphonso one.
One of the netizens commented, “This actually makes me sad they didn’t know what a real mango tastes like.” While another added, “I feel the same when I eat the season’s first mango every year!”
In one of the many hilarious comments, the Instagram user said, “Now tell them there are 300 varieties then they might never recover.” Many people were confused and wanted to understand if mangoes abroad tasted different and Rashi replied to one of them and said, “IT’S SO BAD! It tastes like water!!”
