DXB Declared The World’s Busiest Airport For 11th Consecutive Year!

Everyone knows that Dubai International Airport is quite a busy hub, with hundreds of flights flying in and out of the terminal. And so, it’s hardly surprising that it’s almost always crowded with travellers were transiting from the airport. According to the Airport Council International, on April 14, it was declared that Dubai International Airport has once again become the busiest airport in the world.

DXB Is The Busiest International Airport In The World For 11th Year

Earning this title for the 11th year in a row, DXB has once again become the world’s busiest international airport. Yes, Dubai International Airport has earned this title for over a decade now, and this reflects the trust that millions of guests have in the airport for its services towards the passengers.

In fact, serving as a hub for the Emirates airline, this airport accommodated 92.3 million international passengers just the previous year. This year saw a 6.1% increase from that of the previous year. To be precise, about 92,331,506 international passengers passed through the gates of the DXB. As it happens, this airport was followed by London Heathrow, and it saw 79.1 million international passengers transiting from the airport.

In this, Atlanta in the USA, took the top spot with 108,067,766 passengers transiting from the airport. Dubai International Airport took the second spot in this list with 92,331,506 passengers.
