Ed Sheeran’s Record-Breaking India Tour Began In Pune
The venue, Yash Lawns, Pune, was buzzing with excitement, turning the stage into a spectacular sight. This event brought fans together to experience Ed’s music like never before. Produced by AEG Presents Asia and BookMyShow Live, the evening kicked off with the incredible indie artist Dot., who got the crowd pumped with her beautiful voice and tracks like Indigo.
And then, the moment everyone had been waiting for—Ed Sheeran walked onto the stage, wearing a “Pune” t-shirt, and the crowd went wild! He started with ‘Castle on the Hill’, and instantly, the entire crowd was singing along. His connection with the crowd was pure magic. When he performed songs like Shivers, I’m a Mess, Photograph, Happier, Love Yourself, and the crowd favourite Perfect, the whole venue swayed along, with fans clearly cherishing every moment.
One of the coolest parts of Ed’s performance was his live looping. He showed the crowd how nothing was pre-recorded—every sound was created right then and there! Using his loop station, he layered beats, melodies, and harmonies in real-time! The simplicity of Ed’s set—just him, his guitar, and his incredible voice—made the evening even more special.
The England Cricket Team Joined The Celebration
Between songs, Ed took a moment to share his gratitude, telling the audience how much he loves performing in India and how excited he was to be in Pune for the first time. He also posted a sweet video on Instagram where he met some of his fans after the show, shaking hands and hearing their cheers. In a cool twist, Ed also invited the England cricket team to the show, blending music with sports in a way only Ed could.
