EgyptAir is a state-owned carrier that has its headquarters at the Cairo International Airport. This flag carrier of the country is regarded as one of the world’s pioneer airlines! And now, it plans to expand its global network with some new flights. Here’s all you need to know about its plans to start flights to New Delhi and Manchester
EgyptAir To Begin Flights To New Delhi
It was recently announced that EgyptAir, which is a Cairo-based airline has plans of introducing new flight routes to Delhi Indira Gandhi Airport this August. According to a report by Airspace-Africa, the new route is expected to be serviced by Airbus A320neo, which can accommodate 16 passengers in Business Class and 126 in Economy. Moreover, the flights are slated to begin on August 3, which is Thursday. As it happens, the departure timings for Thursdays and Saturdays are at 11:50 PM and for Fridays and Sundays at 11:40 AM from the airport in Cairo. While the return flights are expected to depart from Delhi on Mondays and Saturdays at 11:50 AM and on Fridays and Sundays at 5:40 PM. As this is going to be a non-stop flight, the flight time is going to be of approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes.

Plans To Start Flights To Manchester Airport As Well!
As it happens, the airline also plans on starting five weekly flight services to Manchester Airport. This route will be operated through a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which boasts a capacity of 154 passengers! This is big news as starting July 15, it will be the first air connection between the two cities since 2015. It should be mentioned that with the introduction of the new routes, EgyptAir is making a move towards significant expansion of its global network, thereby offering better connectivity to its travellers. Not to mention, passengers, travelling, from Manchester Airport, will be able to connect to several African, Asian, and Middle Eastern destinations via Cairo.
